If those players unions hadn’t fought for better and better pay, then all of that would just be in the pockets of the usually underservubg and nepotistic owners”

One of the most beloved handbook episodes is Sean literally walking around while calling in to the show. When it works it works. I think they need to do an ep where they say a bunch of names and Hayes reads social media comments. That always works.

I drilled down about it with him and I think what bothers him is his perception that being an athlete is now much less likely and much more enticing to kids than being, say, a doctor. He likes sports but is definitely a “should a guy that hits a ball get more money than a pediatrician??” guy.
