I finished the season 7-7 good enough for an 8 seed and birth in the playoffs. I upset the #1 seed 11-2 team thanks to Gibbs and LaPorta. He had Lamar Jackson but everyone else shat the bed. I’m projected to beat the next guy by 11 points in the semifinals.

At least in my office league I can say IT'S NOT MY FAULT because I had first pick in a snake draft AND because I clicked the wrong button that pick wound up being Jonathan Taylor - a fine second round pick, but not the person to blow #1 on (Though I think the majority of first round picks have seen extended IR time this year.) Will we get our locks and parlays on Instagram next Tuesday even if the pod is delayed to Friday? I gotta hear the Foos' picks for the Netflix/Prime slate of games - even if they're looking to all be ugly, lopsided affairs.

2024-12-18 16:47:44 +0000 UTCMade the playoffs in all 4 of my leagues this year. My best team got first round exited this past weekend by the 6 seed that scored 200 points thanks to Davante Adams. Of course the jets finally went crazy when it didn’t matter.💀 Chase Brown was my biggest sleeper, I got lucky with a couple of Josh Downs starts. Also had a good feeling about Jayden Daniels and Brock Bowers before the season and that paid off.

2024-12-18 16:23:31 +0000 UTCI'm in the semis of 5 out of 8 leagues, unfortunately I'm an underdog in 4, hopefully I can make 3 finals. I drafted Sam Laporta in 4 leagues and only 1 of them made the playoff, so he was my biggest bust because of draft capital spent Josh Jacobs and James Cook have been carrying me in a bunch, but my teams don't have that many repeated players other than Laporta. On the Redzone, they constantly miss plays showing interviews, sponsored segments or showing meaningless XPs Congrats to Greg! get ready for a lot of unsolicited parenting advice, "you shouldn't carry your kid like that, it makes them bad at math".

The one I missed is a work league I've won the last two years, but the reason I'm not in the playoffs is because the commissioner never updated the settings to include 6 playoff teams when the league grew to 12, so there were 5 playoff teams with 3 on bye... On to the second round of two dynasty leagues and had a bye in my main redraft. I lost in one league by less than one point and if I hadn't switched Jonnu out for Ferguson at the last minute I'd be good.

2024-12-18 14:12:26 +0000 UTCIn the semis in 3 out of 3 leagues this year! In two leagues I drafted Hurts early and also got top 5 WRs that carried me, lucky with no major injuries. The one I’m really proud of is a league I was invited to this year where I only know one other dude. I made a sketchy trade where I gave up Jordan Love after his 4 TD week 4 because I felt confident about Jared Goff even though consensus ratings had him pretty low at the time, and got clowned on for it. He’s proceeded to be my secret MVP all year. The value I generated from relying on a QB off waivers has me with a first round bye with Cook, Ceedee, A.J. Brown, and Trey McBride on the squad. Feels like I earned my team in a way that is rare in fantasy, and especially cool to do it in my first year playing with these guys. Prepared to win no money anyways, but that’s totally fine. Break a leg fellas.
