It’s more physical, and doesn’t have the stupid foul-baiting that gifts players like Luka and SGA half of their nightly scoring totals. Teams actually play defense. Games are quicker, the final two minutes have fewer stoppages, there is less reliance on the three pointer, and on and on. Can’t wait for whenever the bloodless, value-at-all-costs era of NBA basketball finally, mercifully ends

I think people are still watching but they’re not tuning into national prime time games the same way they do for NFL. They’re just being selective with the matchups that they tune in for.
