2025-04-11 15:57:36 +0000 UTCAs bad as the Pirates hitters have been, the biggest reason the Pirates have started the season so badly is the relief pitching. Holderman and Bednar entered the season as the "shut down" guys and have been ridiculously awful. But also, fuck the ownership and front office for not even ATTEMPTING to improve a team with a potentially amazing pitching staff. Just completely punted on the offseason.
