notes:
this was mostly a test of A-dies ability to do low tRP. Thank you to Gigabyte for providing the motherboard

2024-03-10 15:01:28 +0000 UTCNice! Runs well on my b650m. Running fclk at 2133, don’t know if I want to roll the stability dice for it at 2200

2024-01-07 06:18:55 +0000 UTCyeah should work as long as you give it enough voltage.

2023-11-11 03:48:56 +0000 UTCcan i use this with an M-die?

2023-11-10 18:26:36 +0000 UTCSomething weird happened. Bios was setting tCl 40 instead of 30 no matter what I did. Even setting Expo on did nothing. Eventually got a lockup in bios, reset, Fv fragment error warning and reboot into windows telling me my security descriptor has changed and to reset pin code. After that went through OOB experience. Had to reset cmos and start over. At 30-40-40-96 rated Expo timings manually entered. Now all secondary and tertiary timings are on auto with VDD at 1.39, VDDQ 1.35, VDDIO 1.30. Even got electrical mini zap touching reset button on front panel. Not good.

2023-07-07 21:25:20 +0000 UTCTimings in parentheses are from your write up done here. Also my Tras is at 96 as I have 30-40-40-96 1.4 v timings. I have seen others go much lower.

2023-07-07 13:58:49 +0000 UTCSorry which timings? Tight? You mean loosen? Anyhow here are the timings I was able to work up from watching your video:

2023-07-07 13:58:37 +0000 UTCyou'd probably want to tight the DR and DD tertiary timings. As for what vlaues. I'd probably try 8 or 6 for them

2023-07-07 13:34:41 +0000 UTCHow would this differ if you had hynix dual rank A die?

2023-07-07 12:56:58 +0000 UTCyeah that's been my experience

2023-06-25 03:27:31 +0000 UTCIs it just me or is the mobo and BIOS not making much of a difference for the overclocks on AM5? It seems to mostly come down to the CPU's memory controller and RAM.
