Thought I'd drop a fun fact before I give you guys the first half of the video on Thursday: My computer is really bad, which doesn't work well with Sony Vegas. Due to the amount of crashes and how most of my videos can take up nearly 10GB of space, I have to split most of my videos into individual clips and then piece them all together as one project at the end. It's an unorthodox way of getting around performance issues but it's how I've made every single video on my channel for the past three years.
I used to use ShotCut as my go-to editing software, and it's a great first choice since it's free and comes with plenty of things to use (I used this to edit every Salty Critique from "An Angry Critique of SVTFOE" to "The SubtOWLe House"), but I could never upgrade it to the latest version properly and it always ran really badly for me. This is why in all of the videos I used ShotCut for you can pick out plenty of moments where the clips may go slightly out of sync and it annoys the absolute shit out of me.
Eventually I just pirated Sony Vegas 15 and while it crashes a lot, I've been using it religiously over the past year and I don't plan on switching.
TLDR: The reason why my videos take so long is usually because of the editing software not behaving. Thought that was interesting, probably not but idc. The first half of the video will be available on Thursday for Mutant pledgers.
