May 9th Progress Report

Hey guys, apologies for the massive gap between posts. My exams are coming up in two weeks and I haven't had a lot of time to work on videos. However, I have a plethora of plans for the Summer as well as having multiple new videos currently being scripted as we speak.

First and foremost, June this year marks the tenth anniversary of Gravity Falls and I think it'd be a disservice not to do a little retrospective on it. Not aiming to make this too long, just a look back at the show and what it means to me personally as a celebration of its legacy. This should be out around the start of June if I manage to finish the script this week, although I could very well drop it on June 15th too (Gravity Falls' original airdate).

Second of all, my review of The Owl House Season 2B is being scripted as I watch the episodes. The season hasn't finished yet but it's overall a massive joy to watch and, unless the finale of S2 disappoints, expect a very glowing review.

As for plans for future uploads, I've got quite a lot. Good news is that the Persona Anime video script is almost complete and it's looking to be my longest video ever. I also have plans to review Gunsmith Cats, a relatively obscure anime OVA that I'm quite fond of. For July (since Pride Month actually starts a month later in the UK than in the US) I wanna remake my old video from 2018 about LGBT representation in animation since, while I agree with my sentiments in the 2018 video and I appreciate people liked it, I cannot stand rewatching it because of my lisp that I had back then and I said a lot of surface-level stuff with no real substance. So looking at it there, that's about 5 videos currently in the works for this Summer, and possibly more if I'm inspired to get off my ass more lol.

The reupload of the Unbeatable video may come after I hit 100,000 subscribers (since I'm like 3000 away from passing that milestone holy shit thank you guys so much), but right now there arne't any concrete plans as for when it'll be uploaded.

Now for future plans that may extend past the Summer: Amphibia. This show has been my single most requested thing to talk about. Period. It's insane how many requests I get to review this show every single month. I can't tell if people want an honest review or just want me to straught-up trash it. I don't want to trash it because I actually really like Amphibia. I've sort of been intentionally holding a video on it off for like 2 years now, but now that it's approaching its end, it seems like a good time to get a retrospective together. This will most likely not be uploaded during the Summer, but I am officially stating as of right now that an Amphibia review will be in the works soon.

That's all for now. I'll get back to you guys soon but exams will eventually take priority. My goal is to get the Gravity Falls video done soon, write the Owl House video, take my exams, then immediately begin working on the new videos after I'm done. I'm gonna be busy for sure, but I'm feeling confident I'll be putting out some of my best work this Summer. Thank you once again for your incredible patience.
