A Slight Change of Plans... πŸ‘€

Howdy Gamers! πŸ‘€

If you saw my most recent post here on Patreon, you'll know that this page was transforming from a Bricks 'O' Brian support page to the "Pro Gamer's Guide Fan Club."

Upon further research, I found a more intuitive, seamless, and user-friendly platform to host the Fan Clubβ€”and it was right under my nose the whole time!

Shop.BricksOBrian.com can host memberships, like Patreon, with better integration with what I already do- make videos, livestreams, and podcasts.

I am boldly deciding to steer the future of Pro Gamer's Guide in the best possible direction.

-----

The newly announced Pro Gamer's Guide Fan Club will be hosted on Shop.BricksOBrian.com, while Patreon will remain a place for recurring contributions to Bricks 'O' Brian content without rewards.

>>> Sign up for the "Pro Gamer's Guide Fan Club" here. <<<

----------

I apologize for the confusion. Over the next few months, we'll contact Patreon supporters to help make the migration process as smooth as possible.

If you're ready to migrate, comment below, and I'll message you and walk people through the process.

The new tiers, benefits, and updates are available on the Pro Gamer's Guide Fan Club Membership page. More info coming!

To answer your burning questions straight up, let's get into it:

Why are we moving away from Patreon?

There are a few reasons, actually:

TLDR: It makes all the backend stuff unbelievably easier for us. Easier = more time to make cooler stuff.

Like I said in my previous Patreon post, the vast majority here support for the sake of supporting, without expectations. I continue to be unbelievably grateful for that.

What happens to Patreon now?

Patreon will exist as a place to support Bricks 'O' Brian content on an ongoing basis with no additional perks or rewards. I've found that most people on Patreon never (and I really mean never) engage with anything I do. People have told me time and time again, "I just want to support you; I don't need stuff." 🀷

Now, trust me, getting financial support from people with no expectations is πŸ‘Œ, so the Pro Gamer's Guide Fan Club is for those who do want to engage with our stuff and make future works awesome!

"I supported on Patreon annually. Can I transfer my member benefits to the PGG Fan Club?"

YES! Shoot us an email at progamersguidebook@gmail.com with the subject line "Patreon Transfer," we'll get you hooked up.

"Should I cancel my Patreon subscription?"

If you want to! No perks or rewards will be given to any Patreon supporter from this moment on, so if you're looking to get cool stuff, then feel free to cancel (I won't take it personally as long as you resubscribe here πŸ˜‰)

-----

We'll clarify these changes even more at BOB CON. Mark your calendar and be there on Saturday, July 27th, at 1 p.m. for the β€œNitty Gritty of the Gamer’s Guide” Panel with Kevin and Brian!

Thank you for bearing with me as we steer the ship in the best direction possible. We appreciate your support. πŸ’™

Hey Brian, I totally didn't see this till now - so I am way behind it getting things switched over. In fact it was my kiddo asking about her stickers that made me think to look for an update. Oops!! How do I get this moved over to the new setup?
