If you saw my most recent post here on Patreon, you'll know that this page was transforming from a Bricks 'O' Brian support page to the "Pro Gamer's Guide Fan Club."

Upon further research, I found a more intuitive, seamless, and user-friendly platform to host the Fan Club—and it was right under my nose the whole time!

Shop.BricksOBrian.com can host memberships, like Patreon, with better integration with what I already do- make videos, livestreams, and podcasts.

I am boldly deciding to steer the future of Pro Gamer's Guide in the best possible direction.

The newly announced Pro Gamer's Guide Fan Club will be hosted on Shop.BricksOBrian.com, while Patreon will remain a place for recurring contributions to Bricks 'O' Brian content without rewards.

To answer your burning questions straight up, let's get into it:

Why are we moving away from Patreon?

There are a few reasons, actually:

• It's our chance to form a fully engaged fanbase from the ground up.

• This membership is tied to the existing shop.bricksobrian.com merchandise platform people are familiar with. That means...

• More opportunities for surprise gifts, one-off apparel items, and a seamless process for claiming those items.

• Ability to gift community memberships (especially during Bricks 'O' Brian live shows on Twitch).

• The platform we use for this membership service (Fourthwall) takes 60% less in fees (more $$$ for us to make cool stuff!

TLDR: It makes all the backend stuff unbelievably easier for us. Easier = more time to make cooler stuff.

Like I said in my previous Patreon post, the vast majority here support for the sake of supporting, without expectations. I continue to be unbelievably grateful for that.

What happens to Patreon now?

Patreon will exist as a place to support Bricks 'O' Brian content on an ongoing basis with no additional perks or rewards. I've found that most people on Patreon never (and I really mean never) engage with anything I do. People have told me time and time again, "I just want to support you; I don't need stuff." 🤷

Now, trust me, getting financial support from people with no expectations is 👌, so the Pro Gamer's Guide Fan Club is for those who do want to engage with our stuff and make future works awesome!

"Should I cancel my Patreon subscription?"

If you want to! No perks or rewards will be given to any Patreon supporter from this moment on, so if you're looking to get cool stuff, then feel free to cancel (I won't take it personally as long as you resubscribe here 😉)
