Kuminga’s miss dunks were entertaining somehow lol. I think even if GP2 squeezes into the main roster he won’t be used as a playmaking ball handler anyway, so we don’t actually have to worry about the passing accuracy that much. The team just needs him to go out there to defend and move without the ball, be the catch and shooter and the the cutter

Kyle plays with reckless abandon, which is fun to watch for a minute (in summer league), but I’m not seeing him as an NBA player. Handle isn’t good enough for the way he plays, but it’s the low BBIQ for me.

Thanks for including that entire Steph interview. Best NBA superstar ever, seems genuinely humble in life and aggressive as an athlete

GP2 attacking the rim like that is just fun to see. Makes me want more. Kerr talking about starting Mulder has me nervous. GP2 seems the obvious choice amongst current roster candidates for the 15th guy.

As a boise state fan As well I can say this is kind of what Jessup is, when his shot is falling everything gets better for him and he can be a beast but if it's not he can look terrible. Kuminga is going to be something else, I'm so excited to see him in 2 years

Does anyone know what happened to Marquese Chriss? I haven't seen him sign anywhere, could he potentially return to the warriors? He's probably better then looney

What I like most about Guy is his quick decision-making. The ball does not stay in his hands long. OTOH that layup was a very bad sign. ‘I’m getting mine’ is not a great look.
I’m surprised that GP2 has not been as noticeable on defense as I thought he would be. I’m assuming he’s trying to prove he can contribute offensively, but his value for me is as a stopper.
I haven’t seen all the top draft choices but so far I’d rate Kuminga and Moody as #2 & #3 in the rookie of the year race right behind Suggs.

The young guys looked great to me. kuminga will be a major energy person for them. What Pascal should've been, but his mindset and aggression I think is unteachable. I would rather have that.
Kuminga wants to be great and believes he is. A lot of young players are passive, but not him. I think Wiseman wants to be great as well.
Moody is super smooth I love his game. Very Steve Smith like I think. I can see all of them being major contributors.
I like guy as well, but like you said it's the situational thing bothers me. I remember last season when he went in on the warriors and let us back in taking bad shots.
The summer league has been good and I have seen enough of the guys to be confident that they will be good!
Great video as always!

GASP. Is Jessup gonna make me eat my words????????
Spoiler alert, no. I'm still very much of the mindset that keeping him on the team wouldnt make sense. However..........I will admit that he did actually look like he went into Klay-zombie mode where he just starting shooting everything and everything was going in. It was actually really fun to watch. But I need a way bigger sample size to change my mind. His defense and ball handling are still way below Klay's to make that comparison yet. (and lets be real, no ones getting crossed by Klay anytime soon hahaha). Plus I HATED that selfish decision on that breakaway to not give up the ball. That dude who bailed him out on the putback dunk also didnt like it as you see he refused to high five him.
What impressed most last night with Kuminga were actually those 2 closeouts that led to airballs, and the defensive pressure on Barnes. Recognized thats his allstar matchup and rose to the occasion with no fear. I love that in him.
Watching these guys are fun! And by guys, I mean almost strictly Moody, Kuminga, McLaughlin, GP2, and guy. The rest could be completely different people and I wouldnt even notice.

I got to see it to scale... in a jersey next to Loon or somebody. But yeah you imagine he's puts on some size

Just by watching him play in Summer League, you can already tell Kuminga is a student of the game. He's incorporated so many moves into his offensive game and he looks fluid executing those moves. Each and every game, he's pulled out something different from his bag. His pump fakes in the paint are going to be a problem. He's easily going to be able to average 10 free throws a game if he continues to attack the paint. Let's hope he stays hungry and continue to work on his game. If he can shoot 70% from FT in his rookie year, I'll take it.
