Stop all freedom of movement and make it difficult for his man to even move at all. Why couldn’t we see that all that was needed was for him to get traded and then guard Steph Curry. Now u can play the way u always play and get away with it. Bazemore should get defensive player of the year easily if he just sits the bench all season except when the Lakers play the Warriors then roll him out to block Steph from moving at all. Perfect. I thought Moody played well in the second quarter though he missed a couple short jumpers. But we must be mentally prepared for the inevitable injuries to Porter, Bjelica, Iggy. But this team is DEEP.....The Lakers remind me of Wilt Chamberlain's Warriors. Wilt would score 50 and get 25 rebounds and the rest of the team would sleep walk through the game. They never made the playoffs till Wilt realized he had to be a point guard. Right now the Lakers are Snow White (Lebron and AD) and the Seven Dwarfs.

I've been surprised by Bjelica's defense as well, no just his offense, and see much higher potential with him over Looney. Curry needs to go back to his 2018 self where he made 61% on long midrange shots. That is 40% from 3 and is good decent conversion for someone as skilled as he is. Lakers curse too strong.

Hopefully he is able to pick up on reading the floor in the short rolls and just in the paint in general as far as decision making. Same with alumina even though he has already show flashes of wanting to make good the passes. Im very pumped for this szn!

But glad to see the bench production looks legit. Poole showed his age in the first half, but credit to him for having the mental toughness to play better. Alch, I wasn’t sure about that Bjelica Jokic comparison at first, but some of those fakes and assists made me understand the similarity lol. Good win to start the season considering how suspect we played at first. I think Steph should try to get sweet midrange spots like CP3 against the Lakers so that their size doesn’t keep running him off the line and at the rim. And Idk how Russ is gonna be effective on this Lakers squad.
