I went to school at K-State when Dean Wade was there and they ran their entire offense through him for 4 years. I think tonight's decision to 'not chasing wins' when the vets obviously could use some early season 'load management' and heal up is a perfect one. It would be nice to see someone other than Steph be a go-to guy; it is hard for that to happen when Steph is around just because he's so damn incredible. Even if he's a willing passer and facilitator. Jordan Poole needs to shoot some 3's every game but maybe shoot a bit more mid-range shots while he find the range. The fact that JTA had a good game after being out of the rotation is almost as great news as Steph playing Hall of Fame level. I thought Jonathan Kuminga gave into temptation on shooting bricks from 3 instead of driving to the hoop where he's so much more dangerous right now. Easy young fella!

This game was insane. I was completely in the "here we go again" boat with Fitz pointing out bad shooters hitting every shot. You said exactly what I said to my gf last night while watching the game. The "white DWade" hahahaha. Fucker is 28% on the season and as soon as Fitz told us that, I knew that meant he was gonna bang us and go 5/5 or some shit. JTA pissed me off quite a bit when he entered the game. I knew he was gonna be cold, but I liked him for the matchups we had. But in the first 45 seconds he plays, he fouls a 3pt shooter, travels, and turns it over again. I was immediately back tracking on my feeling of wanting him to come in the game, but then he FINALLY got a rebound. And another. And another. And a steal. And then the 4th quarter happened, and I was like "I NEVER DOUBTED YOU BRO!!!!" even though I totally did haha. Nah but for real. The "any given player" lineup we have is awesome. We were just talking about how Bjelica cant play D and is kinda sucking lately. DLee couldnt hit the broad side of a barn since returning. And JTA hasn't played in anything but garbage time. And all 3 dudes were HUGE in a game that we probably lose in any other case. Yeah I'll say it, even if Steph drops 40 or 50, without the plays Bjelica or JTA makes or the timely layups from DLee, they lose this game. Finally got one of my long comments in Alch hahah. Sorry for the essay!!! Hope Steph rests tonight. I wanna see Point Kuminga, but I swear to god I'll kick a puppy if he shoots another 3 with a wide open lane.

Poole man. Looks emotional and appears to be overthinking. You called it earlier this season, Klay echoed it, but gotta give him a little slack still. Like the defensive effort but honestly, don’t he have the hardest role on the team this season? Yeah, he getting the minutes but trying to play around Steph has proved difficult for many players and Poole ain’t the 3&D guy Klay is. Because they want offensive pressure from Poole, as opposed to many of the guys play more “in the system” and look for Steph, seems like he is getting frustrated and overthinking when to attack, how to attack, etc. Maybe a bounce back game for JP with the Chef out tonight. I’d take Beli over Love simply for Beli’s edge. Beli gonna have Bron Bron on the floor giving his usual flop act one of these game. Haha

Yah man I think Juan T has been caught up in feelings about his mins getting reduced, dude lucky Kerr is such a willing coach to let people cook and prove to him if they are worth their salt. gotta stay ready so he dont need to get ready. I AM SO GRATEFUL Kerr is getting Kuminga minutes. Really want to see him find his flow out there. I feel like the system is tough for some players. Each person has to find the way to play their game IN the system. Not get too caught up in it and trying to do the "right" system thing every play but find your juice in the system, if that makes sense. Must be hard as a young player on short rope to find that balance. Your jokes are the best!!! Excited for more!!!
