Steph was going Gangbusters until he had to leave that game in Charlotte with some sort if "Illness." He hasn't seemed the same since... hmmm....

My dream scenario is that Bob works some magic on the Pels and we can get Lonzo with the DPE for Wanabeaballer smiley a couple second rounders and a bag of Frito-Lay’s ($?) hell we can throw in Mulder to sweeten the pot. On a side note can we get Jessup on the squad after the NBL is over?

This is what I keep saying: stop getting high when we win, because a 500 team will lose at least as many - usually against better teams. Another term for 500 team: roller coaster. That's what you're on if you really believe the Dubs can contend. The Dubs are performing right to specifications, because, except for Steph, they are a MEDIOCRE team. I will say one bright spot is Oubre. I think he has actual talent, attitude, and humility, so he can grow. Wigs has great composure and athleticism, but hey, same old rap: after all these years, he is what he is. Wiseman is the One Big Question. Small Ball is overrated. To win you MUST also have at least one dominant Big. KD. AD. Bam. Embiid. Giannis. The Joker. Can Kerr let go and rebuild around a new system? Does he even know how? It won't happen this season or even next. Steph and Klay are old. So is Dray. Injuries dictate championships above all else. Unless some serious blockbuster trading can happen, which the Dubs don't have the goods to draw, their role has to be adjusted accordingly. That's reality. The young guys are the future.

I don’t want to be the pessimistic Warriors fan here but that game was horrendous and nauseating to watch. It was over in the first four minutes. I think we were down by 15 by then and in the penalty. It is astounding watching the Warriors not rebound the ball, and we have a top-five defense? Defense ends when the ball is rebounded. Second chance points has probably cost this team at least five games. And the turnovers, my God. When we were going to the finals every year these weaknesses could be covered up. But we are not that team anymore so why this continues to persist, is beyond me. Loon was trash. So was Wiggs. And Steph Curry has not look like an MVP for about five or six games now. I know it’s not his fault with a lot of things but it also seems like he has checked out. His threes are not even dropping. I don’t know man, I think the roster needs a shake up and I think we need to cut the loose ends like Brad and the above mentioned. I have hopes that we can turn it around. But we will see

Just a quick note I took from your hezi episode, u right Lebron should definitely speak up and be a role model in that regard, but when he says stuff about speaking up on social injustice, then that just a bit hypocritical. U can't pick ur spot whenever it suits your cause, u can't call Morey 'uninformed' for speaking up on the Hong Kong situation. Wigs really gotta go. Some flashes here and there in some games, but big picture, he gotta go. No fire. And when he's open, he miss em more often than making em. Against the Lakers he missed, missed, missed, turnover, turnover, foul, foul, miss, miss, turnover. Like he's just horrendous. Lavine or Dipo for Wigs. Either of those guys are NEVER AFRAID TO SHOOT. And Steph needs that.

I am not great at calling the "right" whistles and I am biased. BUt you saw the second play of the game that LeBron starts crying about the non-call on his layup and the whistles started then. Its just too perfect a storm when considering all that has come out on the inferiority of the refs (see Cubans comments), the fear of the refs when it comes to LA/ LeBron/ Nike, etc. Right after this, a couple of bs fouls were called and you could just see the Ws say why try. Alc, this is my real question to you .. how do you integrate Wiseman in a movement offense? He CAN dribble, right? He CAN move right? I really dont know, I never made it past the playground. IS it as easy as saying make him a 3 and D big (your preview), this gets his defender out on the perimeter, then he can cut or dribble drive, etc? Like how possible is it for a big dude to do what the little guys do given his mobility? If not, whatever, I still think he will be shooting over suckaz for the next 15 years. I am just curious how we move past standing 5 feet from the basket and pointing up

Is it me, or is our defense good against most teams - but we get found out against teams with experienced, organised offenses? Teams that know where the third pass should go and don't hesitate (Utah, Lakers when they take us seriously, Spurs when they have a healthy team.....). I know this describes most teams, but we seem to have a feat-or-famine approach to defending teams and very little in-between. A few of our players struggle to stay in front of their player, and for the most part we can scramble and recover as a team. But some teams exploit weak spots, execute us to death and we look to be at the defensive level we started the season with. Wiseman getting fast-tracked with Draymond Green Defense lessons is a must if we're going to be successful. Having a competent rim-protector will solve a lot of problems.

@John I agree. I kept waiting for Wiggins to take a game off for rest, but he hung in there for the team. It’s only hurt his game though. I’m glad the all star week is coming soon. I expect he will look much better then & we’ll need it w/ the start of that 2nd half schedule!

This was a disaster all across the board, the game was over 5 minutes in, if the refs weren’t gonna let us play D the way we have against other teams, with aggression and physicality, then we weren’t going to have a chance..

I am almost POSITIVE Wiggins issue is that he had a leg issue early in the season but never got any rest. Remember he was questionable for a string of games but never took a game off. He never let his effort dip though on defense so I imagine he just needs a break.
