He gives the refs nonstop grief but they don't call fouls on him, they give him the benefit of the doubt on lots of those Zion assaults. I suppose it would be exciting if the Warriors could threaten one of the division leaders in a playoff series but rationally what is to be gained by exhausting Steph and Draymond when we all know that next season is the goal? I wouldn't be heartbroken if they missed the playin series as well.

It is beautiful to see how Steph working that 3 pt line and Zion working in the post. I expect Warriors can now compete with any teams in playoffs. It is a shame that Kelly is hurt.

2021-05-04 23:26:04 +0000 UTCWiggins must've had the most quiet 26 points I've ever seen. The problem I have with his game is he too much of an iso scorer on offense. He doesn't excel at anything either. His midrange jumper can look silky smooth at times but its all off iso action and they always look tough as hell. He needs to learn to score more easily. If Oubre isn't back for next season, I would love to see him incorporate some of Oubre's game and cut more to the basket. With Klay coming back next season, the lanes should open up even more for opportunities around the basket.

Some may disagree but I don't see any value at all in the play in game or even a first round play off series for this team. So if he has to sit for several games or even the rest of the season I'm fine with that, There is no question Dray still has it on D when he wants to. Though let's be honest as well this Pels squad isn't exactly full of giants. Adams is about as big as they get everyone else is kind of small like our squad. I'll miss the hustle and energy on D that Oubre always gave us. It's kind of weird that Joey pockets spent all that cash on him and there didn't seem to be any urgency to try and turn him into something more useful for the long term. I mean did they seriously think he might stick around after this season?

We had stretches where the line up was Steph, Dray, JTA, Baze, and Mulder, and every offensive posession everyone is pretty much setting screens for Steph while Steph ran a billion miles to try and get a sliver of daylight. Yeah Steph is the better shooter but how much load can he realistically carry? It is so physically demanding to do what he does, I think role players need to be more of offensive threats to help Steph out with the load, no matter how ridiculously in-shape he is

You are a good writer as well, have you got any leads on going to the next level because you are building up an impressive body of work. To the game I agree, I throw shade on Dray all of the time but it's games like this one where he takes on the challenge, like with Jokic or Embid, and it still amazes me that he can play D so damn well, don't forget he's 6'6". He really is a defensive marvel when he wants to be. I hope JTA doesn't become a Concussion casualty long term, I don't think he will but I agree anything to the head has him a little spooked.

Would you rather have a player that shows up for every meaningless regular season game and shrinks when it's crunch time or a guy like Dray who will stink it up in however many regular season games, but always seems to play like that when there is money on the table?

Also he’s shooting 37% from 3 on the season, let’s not act like Kelly ain’t had even worse shooting nights in a dubs uni. I gotta say though I like Kelly in the dunker spot, he’s got good timing and he’s elite at winning momentum possessions like selling an illegal screen.

I don't have a way to know but I suspect that Wigs has probably played in every quarter of every game unless maybe he sat the Toronto blow out cause of the score? Wigs is so sturdy and that is valuable. Are there any Warriors fans that would still trade Oubre for Ball after last night?
