You are trying too hard with Jessup. It’s unfair to judge a guy by one game, but I’ll do it anyway. He is one of those bums you referenced, too slow afoot without a solid shot. He definitely isn’t worth a roster spot. Bjelica, Curry, Green, Kuminga, DLee, Looney, Moody, Poole, Porter, Klay, JTA, Wiggins, Wiseman = 13. Add Mannion and Payton(as good a defender as Davion, IMO) and you have a complete roster. If it’s ‘win now’ then Mannion is expendable. If you want to build for a future then DLee and Payton could go. But money is also a factor. Iguodala, Ingles, et. al. would cost too much on a roster with expensive stars like Curry, Klay, Draymond. Unless they make a mega trade I don’t see any more moves in the offing.

Jessup for sure needs to go back down under and improve. He kept playing hard for sure, but he looked overwhelmed at times. He needs to work on being a spot up or 1 dribble guy in the NBA. I liked Bowtin and Sheckle they looked good. Mulder's time may be coming to a end like you said.

I was a big fan of big body P his rookie year but as Alch had pointed out he never fixed his shot and his offence became predictable. Sucks we got next to nothing for him but sending him to the Jazz where he wanted to go helps the Warriors reputation as a team that works with their players which matters a lot these days. Grew up with Jordan Schakel, played against for a long time and went to school with him. I'm definitely biased and want him to do well, but he's gonna be smart dude. He's played under great coaches and will be a solid team defender. Not sure if he'll get picked on 1v1, but he played well. I know Mulder is more athletic, but I mean Jordan will be able to hit those shots and be way smarter on the floor than Mulder. And your nickname for him LOL

was at the game last night. jessup was strokin it during warmups- he barely missed. but that's warmups. mcloughlin did look like one of our best players and was one of the few that wasnt forcing the issue but trying to make the right basketball plays. also was hilarious how much kings fans loved davion. they even started chanting MVP down the stretch when he was clanking freethrows.

i gotta be honest i got a different read on Jessup. The shot doesnt concern me he'll be a good shooter. But I think he significantly lacks awareness, particualrly on defense. and his handle is putrid. Unless he just stands in the corners in the NBA he'll get ripped a lot. I did like how he shook off the bad first half and shot himself into an ok night, but hey a guy with no handle, not much awareness, who is confident? sounds like Smiley lol. Nah Jessup aint Smiley but honestly he was a bit of a let down. Obvisouly only 1 summer league game and shit can change quick, but still

My initial thoughts on why Warriors decided to not play Moody and Kuminga was probably because they didn't want Mitchell defending them and making them look bad. Moody was shut down by Mitchell in their Elite 8 matchup.
