Seems like the tide is starting to shift on Wiggins. Hoping for a SOLID playoff performance. What gets me wild up is that fact that this is the MOST EXPENSIVE roster in NBA history. Why should I care you ask - I guess there is this fear that at some point we’ll have to ‘pay it back’ and have to live with a teams full of bums. For us in the fan base that go allllll the way back - we are always worried the past may repeat itself

I agree... it's not that easy managing rotations or emotion of the game when it's not going all that well. Steph had had some bad games. Do you bench him too? Do you bench Draymond when he's not putting in that energy or playing really bad? Probably Wigs is in that category of starters that you ride with. Even if he's not playing up to his standard.

i think a lot of ppl like haliburton because of his scalability, shooting, IQ and defense, but I haven't heard ppl say he's gonna be an MVP candidate or anything. simons has become very good tho.

I am convinced that Kerr has lost his touch with his rotations. Feels like he is pissing off a lot of players and fucking up the chemistry. Yes we have had a lot of dudes in out of the lineup but fuck, I think the lack of consistency is taking its toll

Enjoy your trip alch! What do you think abt the thibs situation in NY? They have to fire him this summer right? My theory has been that Thibs drill seargeant ways help scrape out wins in the regular season but that isn’t as much of an edge in the postseason, where every game is super important. It’s crazy to see this inevitable process play out so quick tho.

wiggs and poole accountability issue - wiggs has already been paid and I think they think he is more replaceable in their eyes, wiggs is an overpaid 3 and D dude, while Poole has shown flashes of being not a batman but a real Robin. - def feel like they could be holding him back, feel like they did that with Jordan Bell in his first two years and it may have fucked up his confidence/trajectory of his career, hopefully you are right that JP is unbreakable

In his first 2 years JP played a lot of minutes that he didn't earn. This year, JP has not gotten as many minutes (and arguably the bigger/more prioritized role he has earned). Hope he takes that in stride, think he will.
