That's very true dude, Dray basically insinuated a similar sentiment in a pod recently, to the effect of you have to know when and how to get the ball to klay to get him shooting good shots because if you don't he's chucking up a bad one regardless

Thoughts on the recent Tyreke Evans rumors?
Dubs are apparently working him out this week

When he had a blocked shot followed by a post up, I fell outta my chair. To bad he missed the hook shot to miss the parlay trifecta.

I really hope Klay gets a rhythm. I really think he is shooting and pressing way to much.

Some things we lost sight of with klay…First he didn’t live through the nba post covid with different lineups and playing time….so it’s something he has to get used to in terms of rhythm…THE MOST IMPORTANT thing is that he always was the enforcer during our chip years…even when kd was there,he always got his shots…i think this team has too much of steph’s identity…they play passive sometimes and want everyone to have a look, feel good…We accepted this style as ours but klay is the anthesis…They have to take shots away from him by TAKING them…if you rewatched some games of the past when kd or steph came to play and dominate, klay was happy to take a backseat…guys like poole and wiggs have to realize that and just be aggressive and hunt theirs…give the ball to klay and it’s a shot…

When Klay goes straight up his shot is much better. Its all of those off balance leaners and faders that drive me crazy. He's trying to channel his inner Larry Bird it seems. By the way, Thurs is the Wiseman game in Santa Cruz. Maybe a little Alch bonus coverage?

good point. Wigs is one those guys its easy to forget about at times too.. JTA just moves for the sake of moving, maybe to create the appearance of extra effort

Pretty shocking that Kerr decided to bench Wiggins to close out the 4th especially since he was so aggressive throughout the game. I also think Kerr was trying to experiment with the Curry, Poole, Klay, Moody and Kuminga lineup considering we were up double digits throughout the 2nd half. I would love to see more of that lineup and what type of chemistry they can develop together as a unit so I give Kerr credit. Moody already looks like a player who's better suited to close out games over Wiggins because he brings all the intangibles along with his high IQ. Unfortunately, JTA is on the opposite end of that spectrum.

I will say the Clips missed some good looks but in fairness that's supposed to happen, the last 20 games or so it seemed like if the opponent got any kind of decent look it was in 100percent, didn't matter who shot and how open. It was just nice to have a team not shoot like the 2018 Rockets on us

I imagine UA invested a ton of money into that tech.. but I have also heard that the shoes the signature athletes wear are altered for them personally ( only their pairs) so maybe his rubber is more solid. But I seen Andre and Dlee shits give way too much on hard steps as well.

Hey Alc, have you heard iggy’s new podcast point forward, specifically the one with steph? The last 7 minutes briefly goes over what they think about the front office trying to compete now and in the future. Seems like Andre and steph aren’t totally convinced. I’m curious what’s your thoughts are on it.

Never sad on a win, especially since it was after a 5 game skid but damn.. I felt like the clippers just missed a bunch of good looks. Like you said, can we string some together? That would be key for getting out of this slump

I wonder if because of his crazy ankle braces (I feel like he's talked about how the keep his ankle from twisting but they dig into his foot/leg and it hurts like a motherfucker), there's something about the softness of the foam of his shoes that makes it easier to wear em or some shit? Otherwise it's insane that the signature shoe of an athlete known for ankle issues is more likely to fuck your ankle up
