Just imagine if Wiggins averaged 19-20 ppg. More of those close games we have had would've been won. And we probably don't blow all of those leads.

Steph was hot then yanked out with 4 minutes left in the 1st quarter. Doesn't get back in until 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter................................................... When they're in the paint looking to kick out, the rest of the team is frozen at the 3 point line just waiting. Move. They've been fixated with defending the paint in the past 2 years or so. At this point, he shouldâve been 1a ala Durant (big shoes but he has the skills to do it and has shown in spurts). JK taking his role in year 3 shows how weâve been robbed by Wiggins. 25 mill a year for being the 4th option is truly a business genius. Itâs funny how this guy has been overpaid his whole career. I hope they get bounced to the 11 seed and stay there. I dont want them even SNIFFING a chance at the playoffs, cuz its just more ways to siphon money from fans to go to that overpriced stadium and watch them suck their own dicks for 48 minutes. How long are we going to throw good money after bad?? Steph and Kerr picked a lane. They chose the core. And the core let them down. Everything happening right now is downstream of Steph and Kerr putting their money on Draymond, Klay and Wiggins.

The team is inevitably going to be a slower paced offense once again with the best players not being able to get up and down like that anymore. The warriors should adjust the system back to Steph being a true point guard and allow the iso skills of the young guys to flourish.

2024-03-23 21:45:17 +0000 UTCKlay, Wigs and Loon getting off to slow starts didn't help and wasn't something any of us were expecting, but they've been with the team long enough to be given the opportunity to work thru their struggles until a change was ultimately needed. It also required all 3 to accept the reality that a change was needed and to be open to coming off the bench and/or out of the rotation. Saric meanwhile was probably guaranteed minutes when he sign for the vet minimum and the hope he could replicate what Bjelica did (btw congrats to Bjelica on his retirement). Unfortunately that hasn't happened for Saric.

2024-03-23 21:18:21 +0000 UTCBad vibes all around. Last year, Poole was the easy scapegoat for the bad vibes. This year, it's obvious the bad vibes are ingrained; they're institutional. Over-helping is a sign of a lack of trust, and that's all this late dynasty is becoming known for. Trying to do everything with old legs, trusting no one but their old core, and burning out. And so all our youth have learned that style. You saw TJD immediately try to persuade the coaches (and himself) not to call that early challenge because he knew they like to stand pat. Only to have them call it. That's hubris at work. Just like the over-helping on defense, it wreaks of a power dynamic that's wants to believe they're still in charge while being extremely behind. These are the exact conditions (Lakers Nash = GSW CP3?) that got Kobe to rupture his achilles in the 80th game of the season. I really just hope our dynasty favs make it outta this season intact. Either way, I'm actually getting pretty excited to see how these western conference playoffs shape up regardless of whether the Dubs are involved. There's good basketball somewhere in the league. Not San Francisco, but somewhere.

I know how the moody apologist feel but telling by the body language when heâs out there the big 3 and kerr simply donât seem to like him enough. Moody should be worth a good vet

2024-03-23 20:25:49 +0000 UTCGreat recap. We will be lucky to make the play in at this point. Let the youngins run wild...but Kerr won't do that. Kerr wants Curry to pad stats. That's what it's about now. The identity and core of the team is Kerr and what he wants. We are stuck where we are. If I were Klay (or his agent), I'd push to get out after this season solely because of Kerr's poor coaching decisions. The starters, especially Wiggins and Pods, are just not producing enough points. Earlier in the season, the blame was on Looney. Kerr brought in Dario earlier in the season and those games fell apart; a stretch big with no defense. Kerr runs three point guards on the floor and we get torched by bigs. Kerr's bad coaching mistakes start early last season with the punch and poor decision making on rotations. Someone will point out that Pods and Wiggins bring more energy and pace, but that hasn't equated to more wins. Klay might look more comfortable and be better off the bench stats-wise, but I'm taking Klay's 17ppg, consistent free throws and good hands over Wiggin's 12ppg, blown layups and lack of attention to detail any day of the week. You're Andrew Wiggins; how difficult is it to work on free throws in the off season? How difficult is it to dunk the ball instead of blowing soft layups?

Trade Wiggins CP3 and Moody in the offseason for an experienced 2nd or 3rd option.. even someone like Kuzma at the very least. The plus of bringing Klay off the bench has allowed him to see some easier matchups and have a true rolling threat in TJD.. which frees him up. However its also added more weight on Steph in terms of shot creation on the perimeter. Next season.. we need to look to find someone who can get 20-25 ppg from the perimeter. Lavine.. Kuzma PG... someone. We are running out of gas late in the season because of all the heavy lifting we had to do earlier. All of those late close games has fried these vets... Unfortunately.. I have to point the fingers at the coaching staff for not playing Kuminga and TJD sooner... but also Wiggins for his lack of aggression all season. We needed him to be at 20 ppg for us to have a shot. 12ppg is just wild for someone who was our 2nd option a year ago

I get Steph is running on fumes and Dray is banged up, but if they truly want to make the play-in they can't afford to rest. At this rate, I just don't see it, especially with their remaining schedule. They might as well play the young guys to see what they have with Podz, TJD, JK, Moody, Gui & Lester. We've seen so many times this season their energy & hustle provide a boost and even help them win some games this season. More importantly, this gives the team a chance to see what they have going into a critical off-season. IDK what will happen, but there will be changes coming.
