A look at Bruno Caboclo

Turns out he signed with a Euro League team just today. I had been looking at him all week so I apologize for the irrelevance of this Breakdown, but thats how the content game goes some times. Who knows maybe he will pop back up on our radar the way he bounces around,

I think at the very least it's nice to see the FO interested at all in finally getting a shooting big man. What I like about it most is that it could turn out well in different ways. If he doesn't want to become more of an all around player then just let him cook off the bench. But maybe the opportunity for a real NBA starting job after so much bouncing around would motivate him to work more defensively and you would finally have a big out there to space things out for steph.

My only question is how realistic is it that the FO even fills the final roster spot? Are they still trying to keep it open for tax purposes? And if they are only keeping 14, who might he replace if they like him? My guess would be GP2 or Moody, but who knows. Maybe he's also jostling for a 2-way contract. But he's a good player to take a flyer on, no risk and potential reward 💪🏼

2024-08-30 23:17:47 +0000 UTCAs a brazilian, it is great to see you do some breakdown on another brazilian player that's not even in the roster, but I guess the main problem with guys from here that goes to the nba is the difference in the lifestyle, things here are tough, and when a guy that most of the time didn't have much while growing up, to suddenly start living the "american dream", they lack the discipline to do so, the money, the status etc, that's why most of the brazilian players that go to the nba doesn't stay in the league. I guess that's why Caboclo had such a rough start, but he could be a solid role player in the dubs, as they have a historic with that.
