the bench guys for the Kings are their dogs lol. Monk and Mitchell are their enforcers, I still don't get why either of them don't play more. Also, this game was the first time I really started to think about Klay's next contract. Klay is one of my favorite players of all time, but is he really worth more than 15-20 mill a year? This game was crazy. But Chris Paul and TJD really put a smile on my face. I believe Chris had the ball a little too much there at the end and those stupid Warriors-style turnovers almost cost them the game if not for Curry's heroics, but seeing Chris do all the things to keep them afloat without Steph on the floor and then really good defense from TJD was very promising. This might as well have been Game 8 for that playoff series because it felt like a playoff game. Or maybe Game 9 if we're counting that preseason game hahah. Also, if you need to take a day to do the niners game, I dont mind if that comes out on Wednesday!!!! But please do it! If the niners win it, then I definitely wanna hear your breakdown of them potentially righting the ship as they head into the bye, but if they lose 3 in a row.........................................boy I'm about to go IN on them.

I remember during 2021-22, my favorite bench lineup was Andre, Poole, Belija, Otto, and GP. I think I like this year's bech lienup even more. The upgrade from Poole to CP is huge. CP basically turns Warriors without Curry from a pseudo offense to a real offense. He can get us a buck naked three every procession. Also he allows Curry to play more aggressive

I admit I was indifferent to CP’s role….too old….too many pick-and-rolls with a team not accustomed to playing that way….too small on defense. But I was wrong. His mastery in that 3rd quarter was…..comforting. He finds the open man. He doesn’t turn it over. He is a pest on defense. One last gift from Bob Myers (who byw is, so far, a dull TV commentator). More minutes for Trayce-Jackson, please. Saric has been underwhelming so far, but too soon to say anything. Moody shot 75% from the field with three steals.

This was a nice win and a great watch, but all the top teams are so much bigger top to bottom. We saw this last year, where we punished like-sized squads. But in the event the Warriors look to upgrade at the deadline with picks packaged to one of the expiring, I'm no longer sure who that may be. Jerami Grant through the preseason and in these few openers for Portland looks awful. It's hard to gage since they're a tanker but he looks mediocre on both ends of the floor. Toronto likely wont sell. Indiana likely will hold on to Turner in the hopes of a playoff birth. Makes it even more likely that the roster we have is the roster we have at the end. Hopefully more of the infusion of the youth is the answer.

ngl these guys look good, like a well oiled machine. First game into the first half of this game they couldn't make a shot, that should change. Also, they won their first game on the road. Love the angle CP gives em as well- High IQ plays & slowin it down in the late 4th for some nice half court sets...Moody ballin out, Kuminga lookin like a monster in the post. Way optimistic, only thing is teams w big lineups - lakers, nuggs, bucks...we see how that goes

The interview at the end answered the question with the Fox mentorship. Curry doesn't see Sac as a rival or a serious threat. Fox is a special guard, but that series against the Kings was more on the Dubs lack of chemistry and will rather than facing a true contender in round 1. Sabonis simply isn't the All-NBA impact player in the playoffs the regular season analytics suggest.
