I think warriors have gone back to what made them special. Chemistry! On both ends. They’re depth is insane: which we lacked last year (literally a 6 man rotation come playoffs) Today showed we could play in mid range, with wigs ,kuminga, cp3.. and defensively: the dray, kuminga, wigs, Klay, Steph line up was insanely good. We can literally go 10 -11 deep. I think if we keep everyone healthy, moody, kuminga and trayce keep developing and stay locked in, we can get the 🏆. Keep up the great work Alch

As a spectator you can see those traps coming from a mile away and yet Steph seems flummoxed and caught off guard time and time again. And the explanation that he handled them poorly because he was upset about being trapped in the first place just makes no sense to me. One would think it would be a source of pride/joy to dismantle those traps and spark a 4 on 3 advantage for his teammates. And also couldn't agree more about Klay: for him to be rewarded as the hero after playing exactly the kind of ball we've been clamoring for, it was just a perfect ending. Go Warriors. Go Baby T!

I think JK gets too dramatic when a mistake is made and they are all trying to get him have that next play mentality. The Mood baseline balk.. too me was on Dray he was headed down hill and had a step. I think that was just frustration from a night full tov.. and Mood know Dray well by now, let him vent in the moment.

I know the team is preaching the "good vibes/connectivity" theme hard (and it looks legit) but there were two incidents last night that had me wondering if there are some dynamics to keep an eye on. Curious if they stuck out to you at all when you were watching the tape. 1st one was with Kuminga. I believe it was late 3rd on the defensive side and I think the coaching staff was giving him shit about something and he had a pretty strong reaction to it. Looked pissed. GP had to calm him down a bit. It wasn't a big thing but it did stand out to me and had me wondering what the underlying frustration might be about. The 2nd one was with Draymond & Moody, late 4th quarter. There was a missed connection between the two & Draymond threw it out of bounds. In real time it looked like it actually could have been on Draymond but he kind of lost his shit and was super demonstrative with his frustration towards Moody. Nothing new here i suppose but it did leave me wondering how the young guys truly feel about Draymond's antics and how that kind of reaction can erode trust and good team vibes over the course of a season. Anyway, on the whole, small things and i'm not surprised they didn't make the cut for the game take but i am curious if they caught your eye too.

I just love how much better this team is without Poole, CP3 is a 100 times better, the chemistry 100 times better. Wiggs is the only one that misses him and it seems to show, but u "got the bag" Wiggs worry not. and I believe he will come around. CP I'm sorry I hated you all those years, even on D he somehow does well no matter who he's playing, Poole was just a cancer on and off the court. Now he's Washingtons problem.

And then he moves one foot slightly which should have made that his pivot foot before he then pivots on the other foot. I would be complaining to the refs constantly until they call a few of them.

But didn't notice it was Steph and CP3 that were calling it out.

TJD should have played, especially because of the way he handled Sabonis in pre-season. Steph, stubbornly trying to dribble out of double teams = dumb. They were outrebounded 48-36. Wouldn’t happen with TJD & Podziemski in the game. (And, yes, I know that would create other problems, but they could take a few Wiggins minutes.) Bench players were +11; starters -6.

I already KNOW Kuminga is gonna have a REAL comfortable season because this man hit Chris PAUL with THE Chris Paul fake-pass dribble move on that fast break where he should have gave it up. The audacity! Also, you're so right about Steph hating the trap pressure. I think sometimes we forget that Steph is an NBA son at the end of the day and most likely as he matures into his final years in the league, he's just going to revert back to the kid who wants to run around an NBA court and throw crazy shots up like he owns the joint. I'm sure when some meaningful games roll around, he'll lock in. But this man just wants to play without constraints as much as possible. A very fitting image, ultimately, that the two other core members "sensed" this Steph frustration and bailed him out of a loss. There was so much collective trust in Klay's defense and even Dray's go-ahead pass to Klay. As if they both surmised much earlier in the night that they weren't getting anything miraculous out of Steph.

I know its way too early in the season for that type of talk but I recall hearing from Marcus Thompson (forgot which podcast) that Steph told him he wants to win another MVP. If you look around the league, the two remaining undefeated teams have legit MVP contenders (Luka and Tatum). Maybe Steph is playing a lil out of pocket because he feels the needs to keep up with those guys stats-wise.
