I appreciate the 2021-2022 squad a lot. That season was amazing in the sense that management, coaches and players were all on the same page. Steph - isn't he usually like this in the first few months especially when he's trying to get others going early in the season and then he gets back to GOAT mode

So maybe Steph wasn't just sulking but trying to flex his ability to tank the season.

Maybe Dray is indeed on the move. We'll find out soon I suppose. During the game I was more focused on what you pointed out about the way teams are blanketing Curry with a huge defender and how that same huge defender is sprinting back and just obliterating him under the basket. It's been happening a lot lately but last night was just relentless. Coaching staff is going to have to look for a solution there. At any rate, Klay certainly provided an inspiring performance on an otherwise bleak evening, He played within himself (mostly) and look dialed in on defense too. On the other end of the spectrum, Corey Joseph, man, I don't know what you see in that guy. Can't score to save his life and how many threes did Toronto bomb right in his grill? I'm having trouble coming up with another player more inept on offense at his position. I'm sticking to my mantra of ZERO minutes for Corey, absolutely zero. I'd rather watch us lose with Moody, Trayce, and JK learning the ropes (I don't care how painful it is) than with Joseph fumbling around like a floundering trout. Go Warriors. Go Alch.

As a nobody myself, I've learned to appreciate it : ) it's nice to go to a grocery store at 9 PM in my PJs without shaving and not worry about TMZ snapping a shot.

I have to think that if at least most of the other original starters (Klay, WIggs, Dray, Loon) showed up, Steph would be playing much better. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

We know how much the non-American hoopers love repping their countries in FIBA and the Olympics. After the OG Anonuoby trade I was surprised to hear everyone gassing up Quickley but nobody expecting much from RJ the Canadian. I'm not surprised at all to see him balling now

It listed 3 super powers: mind reading, invisibility, and something I don't recall. The players were supposed to put one as their number 1, one as being on the bench, and one to completely remove. It made perfect sense that Chris Paul and Podziemski chose mind reading as their first choice. They both gave reasons about being able to read other players and know what the like to do and such. But what I really found interesting was that Steph chose invisibility and chose to put mind reading in the trash. His reasoning was actually related for both. His reasoning for invisibility was about the luxury of not being known or to able to be like you're not there.. I forgot his exact words, but it really got my mind going. His reasoning for putting mind reading in the trash was that it doesn't matter what other people think, because he could care less about what other people think of him. I feel like these two responses are ultimately tied together. And who knows.. I feel like it's a small window to where his mind is at right now. I just found it very curious . A more trained mind in the psychiatric studies probably can elaborate more.

It's pretty difficult to watch Steph and not be dazzled. However, during these last few years, it has been made very clear to me that it's the team that I want to see win.. and I care a lot less about individual egos and, in particular, behaviors and execution (or lack thereof) that is directly detrimental to the overall winning of the team.

But there's a lot of very LeBron-fan-esque fans with Steph where any criticism is slander and they're more interested in boosting his legacy than what's best for the team. Like I feel there's a part of these fans that are ok with the team being bad so they can run with their "no help" and "my fav player is a victim" agendas. You know classic LeBron fan behavior. I just don't really like the concept of rooting for a player only in a team sport, if you can't tell lmao

I cant believe this team, with a worse bench, made it to the WCSF last year. How was that even possible. Its genuinely shocking that after getting rid of Poole, the entire team looks WORSE (though I admit that the young guys are promising). Im over Kerr. Im over Draymond. Im over Wiggins. When this season is done, 2 of those 3 names need to be gone. If Draymond is incident free and plays well the rest of this season, then maybe theres reason to keep him. But his contract should be WAY cheaper now. If Kerr is the coach next season...........................Idk man.

That isn't to say that he's been perfect, like you've pointed out his defense and decision making haven't been great, but he has been carrying this team at 35 and it's clear his body is wearing down. It looks like something is happening behind closed doors that's affecting him, like maybe Kuminga and/or Moody want a trade, maybe Kerr ain't coming back next year, etc.

I just liked someone showing some pride and fight at least. This feels like a tough spot where the core isn’t good enough where we’re one piece away, but we don’t have a Haliburton level young guy who we can give the keys too and just flip the page and build for the future. Maybe JK is that but it’s def not a sure thing. So what do you do? Could be a Dunleavy legacy moment coming up in a few weeks.

Moody's post game presser was very telling. He didn't pull a Kuminga and call out anyone. He just seems resigned to the fact that the coach doesn't like him.

It seemed like Barret wanted to show the world he was better suited for that "Maple Jordan" nickname after last night's performance. To me, Wiggins is completely checked out. We have to try and trade him for whatever we can get at this stage and hope the selling point is that he just needs a change of scenery. I really think the Poole trade really messed with his already fragile psyche. The fact that the organization chose Draymond over Poole in hindsight after everything that's gone on this season is probably unsettling for any young player. Any goodwill this organization has built up over their championship years is probably nonexistent at this point.

Trust me when I say, you'll feel a lot better after games when you accept that this team is going nowhere this season. They might manipulate us a bit and mess around in the play-in, and win 1-2 games in a playoff series. But they arent going anywhere this year. The sooner we accept that as reality, the sooner we all just move on to next season. Get rid of Wiggins. The man gives zero fucks about baskteball.

The clutch shots are covering the fact that he is not playmaking ( he’s the greatest decoy of all time recognize when to pass) he isn’t playing defense, he’s not communicating on the the floor. It’s frustrating to watch. Right now He reminds me of LeBron, you know when leBron hints that he hates the lineup and starts playing uninspired lol. Think early lakers days.

Each game provides more insight on just how mismatched we are with 80% of the teams across the league. There’s 2 definitive direction we go right now imo. We can Punt Kerr, punt the old core and rebuild around Steph and the youngins OR keep Kerr/core and try to milk one more chip out this small window 🤷♂️

Not excusing the Dubs bad play, but Toronto on paper was just a bad matchup with their athleticism and length. Klay shot well, JK powered thru, and Moody got some shots to fall, but they were outmatched from the start. There were bad performances all around, including Steph, but none more disappointing than Wiggins . His first start since his benching and he comes out once again with no energy. Think he needs to keep coming off the bench until a move is made. And it's becoming more apparent that not having another playmaker next to Steph has hurt them all year.
