2024-01-14 15:38:57 +0000 UTCI'm still convinced this team already has enough talent. And even if that weren't the case, the chances of a trade making us title worthy this year are absolutely zilch. This is about getting healthy, in sync, and Kerr figuring out how to use his players. No coaching experience here, but I humbly opine that Podge is getting far too many minutes (and must jettison that baby-hook atrocity) while JK far too few. Corey Joseph and Jerome should NEVER see the floor (ok, RARELY!) and combinations like JK/Wiggs/Trayce along side Klay and Steph need to get longer looks. That front court does wonders for us on defense, both in the half court as well as on break-outs, and JK and Wiggs can both create their own offense. Did anyone notice how many times Klay found Trayce for open dunks last night? And that Dario/Loon duo? How about more of Dario/Trayce instead? Dario spreads the floor, Trayce provides a roller and some rim protection. Again, the talent is there, the key is going to be Kerr discovering and embracing some new combinations. But regardless of who's on the floor, we've got to get back to basics: without grit and effort we're going nowhere. Go Warriors. Go Alch!

Last year the tried to win a championship but we all knew that’s not going to happen. So Steve Kerr had to play Anthony Lamb over Moody and Kuminga. Still pissed about this decision. Imagine how good Kuminga could be for us this year, if he played more last year because Steve Kerr trusted him - mind blowing.

2024-01-14 05:37:13 +0000 UTCThere’s not a lot of precedent for a player of Curry’s size and age playing at that level for much longer. A lot of my frustration with Kerr’s rotations this year and (even worse) last was that they over played the vets at the expense of developing the youth. One thing that I think has been lost about the success of 22 was that they were winning easily in the early season, allowing the vets to be preserved by playing them fewer minutes. And then Steph got hurt towards the end of the season, so when the playoffs came around he was relatively fresh. Kerr need to play Steph and Klay below 30m a game regardless of the record so they can be rested for the playoffs. Moody and Kuminga need to be north of 20m regardless of the record because they need to develop so they can be relied on in the playoffs.

They were playing hard on both ends, no matter what, and playing for each other (39 assists!). It bounced off the screen, especially Wiggs. I thought Dario got the nod for this reason, too, just always leaves it on the floor. Dunno how to solve the Loon mobility problem, as being forced to constantly cover the arc just isn’t there for him. Only play against trad bigs? But p n r defense has dropped off, too!

But stop me if you’ve heard this before: “they’re starting to turn it around!!!” I caution everyone to wait to see real change before believing in this team again. I’m not gonna hold my breath. But we’ll see what they look like heading into the all star break. This is a good start though if they really are trying to turn it around.

I hate to see Kuminga go, but if Wiggins is playing like this it seems a lot more defensible to trade JK because he has more trade value than Wiggs at this point. I think Kuminga has a higher ceiling than Wiggins, but not playing for Steve Kerr and not hitting that level in the next season or two that we can expect Curry to carry us through another playoff run.

Klay is still the best microwave in the NBA. As angry as he makes us at times.... bro still got that superpower And its insane how better the team looks with a motivated Wiggins. The floor opens up for Steph and Klay when there are other offensive threats to keep the defense honest.

Whatever happens going forward, we all know the Curry era is winding down, so I just want to see them end with dignity like Kerr said recently. This could be some of the last we see the Splash Bros together on a court for all we know. Regardless of what we've said about "blow it up" and all that, we're all going to feel it if the band breaks up.

There’s no surprise that Demar has averaged the most points since he’s joined the bulls even though it seems he’s past his prime. Or that Shai is one of the best scorers in the league while being a below average 3pt shooter. I’d love kuminga to study kobe bryant because he’s one of the few young guys that I believe could be closer to him on both sides of the court or Kawhi if people are scared of a kobe comparison

Loon is getting cooked every night. They play these teams like the Pistons with big guards and Steve runs a 3 small guard line up against them. Then they play athletic quick bigs and Steve has Looney out there stumbling back and forth down the court. He’s not putting these guys in the right line ups to win games

Then a streamable.com version and finally a UTube version. Sometimes we get all 3, mostly we get the first two with a delay between them, so Patreon people get first perusal. The 3rd one is the one that interests me because I can chromecast that one to my 77" LG OLED. Is there something I can do to make this version my self or do I just get to enjoy the 1 out of 10 times that is like that on my TV and do the other version on my tiny chromebook screen with low end high resolution? If this is all to techie no answer needed.
