It's still early and it's better to have these types of losses earlier rather than later but I agree this is not a good sign for this team. It will be very interesting to see how we'll fare against Seattle and Arizona because I think the division is pretty wide open.

In some ways, these breakdowns show off how smart you are even more than the hoops ones do, bc football is so much more complicated—it's about plays and schemes and execution and there are 11 + 11 bodies moving on every play. But I cannot STAND Kyle Shanahan's constant arrogance and mindboggling stupidity in his playcalling. I agreed with BOTH decisions to go for it on 4th down in that first half. I was happy! I was surpised! Kyle being aggressive? Its a Christmas miracle. But of course. I spoke too soon. Be careful what you wish for. Run a shotgun pass on 4th and goal at the 2?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? After they couldnt stop Mason if he was running blindfold?!?!?!?! Fucking unbelievable. And then just no one came ready to play except Warner. Deebo with another dumb penalty to take away a great run that led to the punt that got blocked. Our DBs forgetting that the Vikings have exactly ONE offensive threat, and let JJ run behind them for 100 yards. Just hair-pulling and infuriating play yesterday. Deebo picked up a bit afterwards and Brock had some decent throws (and a seemingly equal amount of totally shit ones). But it was too late already. Outside of Warner, the team practically gave up at halftime. Our special teams is disgusting. Trent was selling. And for my final point: ITS NOW WEEK 2 BRANDON. Im still waiting for your egotistical, ass-grabbin self to show up after making all that money. But nope. Took a page right outta Bosa's book. Get your money, and then fuck right off. Who cares about winning or effort, right? Your generational wealth is here. No need to play anymore. Fuck Brandon Aiyuk. I dont care if that dude has an MVP season from week 3 to 18 (which we all know he WONT). The only way Aiyuk gets back on my good graces is if he makes the game winning TD catch in the superbowl. The season is obviously not over and I expect them to bounce back quickly. But this was such a winnable game that they threw away at every chance they got. Do the Warriors and 49ers practice together????
