2025-02-21 03:40:24 +0000 UTCNgl Alch, I think it's crazy you think Ant has a higher ceiling than Luka. Luka has been outperforming expectations every year he has been in the league. He was going toe-to-toe with Prime Kawhi and PG as a sophomore, dismantled the Suns franchise with a bunch of role players and took a Mavericks team to the finals last year against all the odds. And he's being doing this all while not even being in the best physical condition he can be in! When I watch Luka, he just has that IQ of the game that only generational talents like Magic/Bird/Lebron have possessed. I like Ant, but he doesn't have that. Only way Ant can ever close the gap on Luka is by Luka's own admission, meaning Luka continues to not take care of his health. Assuming Luka can clean that part up(which I think he will when playing next to a guy like Lebron), his ceiling is on another tier than Ant.

His perimeter defense got kind of lame because he hung by the paint hunting rebounds. That said, he was off the charts when he was the Worm in Detroit.

There was one where he could have looked for his own bucket but passed it up to Pat Spencer for an easy lay. Small things like that really build a role player's confidence when they feel more involved in the flow of the game
