2025-08-13 02:04:11 +0000 UTCI had resigned myself to Ceci being a Portland Fire next year, but with KT’s injury potentially psuedo-protecting her, I absolutely think they should protect and re-sign Ceci. One of the most underrated players in the league. Sold as just a 3-point sharpshooter, but her offense has been so much more diverse here and she’s an underrated defender. Italy has a Eurobasket medal from this year in large part because she had Salaun totally locked up. Nakase said Kate told her she was fine, but Nakase lies about injury all the time, so TBD on that one. The injury report said she’s questionable for tomorrow, but with a back injury? Don’t know what that’s about.
