Once the Battlefield is set up, and Missions have been set, it's time to build your gangs!
Unsurprisingly, gang-building in MODULORKA is as modular as the minis. Your building blocks are:
CLASSES, which define a model's base stats and abilities, as well as outlining Keywords which set up special rules but also allow certain specific items of wargear to be equipped
WEAPONS, which give models offensive capabilities. Weapons are either Ranged, or Melee, or rarely both, and most not only give your Orcs basic Clobberin' and Shootin' abilities but also come with their own unique special powers and effects.
GEAR, which grant models new abilities and Keywords but which don't have offensive capabilities of their own.
It's up to you how you build your gang.
Maybe you have a really cool story idea in mind - like a genius Gob who somehow became the boss of a gang of Orcs. That's something you can totally build and play in MODULORKA.
Maybe this Gob is all brains, no brawn - in which case you can equip him with things like the Boss Banna, which denotes him as a leader and gives him the ability to Rally Orcs face down in the dirt, and then kit him out with things that make him harder to target and faster to escape from trouble.
Or maybe this is da worldz tuffest Gob - in which case you can spend your points on stuff to level up his survivability and damage output.
What's true for storytelling is true for strategy. Want to lean into a particular playstyle? If your idea of fun is fast and brutal orcs that charge in and dominate the battlefield - then you can tailor your gang in that direction. Do you want one or two overpowered heroes, or a green tide? Either is doable.
Once your gang is assembled, it's time for DA FIGHTIN!.....
