A Couple of Updates

Hello Fellow Orcs

I am just letting you know about a couple of updates.

1. Publishing Change

There will be a change in publishing, which doesn't directly affect you, my lovely patrons, but I wanted to keep you in the loop.

I am going to be creating two different versions of each zine starting with this coming Halloween release.

I will have a FREE version, which will be just that: free, for anyone to download from my website as a PDF. This free version will have 20 pages of content.

There will also be a FULL version, which all my patrons get, and anyone who buys from my webstore will get too. This will be at least 28 pages long (sometimes more) and contain all the articles I write for the zine. So, an additional 8 pages of content!

2. Webstore in Live!

The website store, where you can buy physical copies of my zines, is up and live. https://yumdm.com/store/

So, if you are missing any issues, you can now complete your collection.

Anyhoo, thanks again for supporting my little zine - it means a lot! And, as always, happy gaming.

Russ

Thanks, Jay. :)

This is great news! Extra content, and now I can order those early issues I missed out on :)

Thanks, Aaron. I did think about the number of pages. It needs to be divisible by 4 (so, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, etc) due to the way it's printed. I still want people to enjoy it, but just give them an added incentive to join up or purchase a physical copy. I can always change it later. Good feedback though.

I think this makes a lot of sense, particularly if it helps keep the issues going over the long haul by increasing your ability to focus on creating them. Personally, I feel it would be fair if the free version was even "lighter"... I feel 8 more pages vs 20 wouldn't necessarily tip me over from "reader" to "subscriber". Perhaps I'm calling that one wrong, but I feel an 18-free/28-paid split might be even more compelling as it hits that 'magic' number 10 which feels a lot bigger (because humans are bad with numbers ;) than 8... Now, heading off to your shop .... :P
