New NJB: Introduction to Strong Towns
Added 2020-10-26 20:32:52 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I completed my latest video a bit early. This is not a particularly exciting video, but it's necessary to introduce a new series I'm going to (slowly) create, about the topics covered by StrongTowns.org.
If you haven't heard about Strong Towns yet, their material is worth reading (particularly if you're in the US, Canada, or a place that designs cities like them). They focus a lot on the financial stability of cities, as well as road safety issues. Their founder is a former transportation engineer.
I'm hoping that I'll have time to work on a second video - the next video in this series - and release the two videos together next week.
I will be making a playlist on Strong Towns videos, but not all at once! There will still be other videos released in-between, and it may take a few months before I'm finished with Strong Towns subjects. These are important videos though, as they'll provide a foundation for topics I'll be talking about later this year, such as how the Netherlands can afford to build all the great infrastructure they have!
