New NJB: A Blizzard in Amsterdam
Added 2021-02-19 18:10:56 +0000 UTCThe other week it snowed quite a bit when storm Darcy hit the Netherlands. I went out every day during and after the storm, and it was interesting to see what was done well, and what wasn't, with respect to snow clearing.
In geneal, cycling infrastructure was prioritized, but there were several problems with the train system. And in the end, maybe this storm wasn't quite as bad as people thought it would be, and the Netherlands should probably be prepared for such storms in the future.
In other news, I'm still waiting on YouTube to acknowledge my 100K milestone. π Once the creator award arrives I plan to make a video highlighting some other YouTubers that deserve more exposure. If you have any favourite "city" YouTubers, please let me know in the comments.
