Hey everyone,
I wasn't going to release a video this week, but then my "Garbage Day" video hit 1 million views this week, and I thought it deserved a quick meta-video.
The YouTube algorithm seems to like my original garbage video, but this last round through the algorithm was really crazy, with over 400K views in just a couple weeks. It shows what can happen when the YouTube algorithm decides to promote a video!
Anyway, with a video going out to a broader (mostly US) audience, it brought a lot of comments from people who don't really understand what it's like to live somewhere walkable. So this video talks a little bit about where the misunderstandings come from, as well as some updates as to how life without "garbage day" is going for us in Amsterdam.

My next video will be out in two weeks and it will be promoting the new book by Melissa and Chris Bruntlett (authors of "Building the Cycling City") called "Curbing Traffic."
Enjoy!
