Through the charred remains of a burnt-out forest, a group of twelve centaurs pulls weathered carts behind them. The carts creak and groan under the weight of their cargo—souls they believe they’re saving from the torments of the Nine Hells. Their faces are worn, but their determination is clear.
These centaurs are driven by a deep sense of duty, a misguided belief that they are rescuing innocent souls trapped in eternal suffering. They speak of a noble cause, a quest to free those who, in their eyes, have been unjustly condemned. But as you watch them, something feels... off.
The creatures they drag along, bound in bone cages, are strange—larvae, lemures, nupperibos—souls twisted and warped by the Hells. The centaurs are so convinced of their righteousness, they don’t even question the cost of their mission.
Something about this quest doesn’t sit right. But will you uncover the truth? Or will you leave them to their tragic path?
What is really driving these centaurs?
