In-game tutorial: Where did YOU struggle?
Added 2020-06-09 20:35:53 +0000 UTCWhile working on the adventure modules, I was thinking about a way to get a better onboarding-experience for newer users. We are seeing a great influx of new Foundry users and I was wondering if I did a good enough job with the documentation (which all of you read, of course) and whatnot.
So I was thinking in-game tutorial. And I began fiddlign around with it and I like what I see. But it is rather silly to try to describe everything I would think is not so easy to understand so I am asking you:
What where the concepts that you had trouble understanding, especially when you set-up vtta-dndbeyond for the first time? What are you perhaps still struggeling with? Would have a step-by-step GUI-driven intro helped?
I am reaching out in the hopes of a fruitful discussion, and especially on Patreon and not on Discord where the more enthusiastic user-base is more at home. I want to hear your pains, fellow new users of this amazing community!
Please see this as a save brainstorming area where no idea is too silly to be written down. Let it all out.
Here is a little demo of what I am working on to give you some ideas:

Looking forward to hear from you!
Stay lovely,
Sebastian
