[Updated] Release: VTTA Tokens (and vtta-core)
Added 2021-01-11 16:59:48 +0000 UTCEnjoy the premiere of the new Token editor and successor of vtta-tokenizer: VTTA Tokens!
As I found it hard to maintain a consistent "something-something-izer" naming scheme with the and me now being a Dad, I guess it's time to grow up and use plain and simple names for my modules.
Update 1: The button to open the editor moved due to user feedback, see explanations below. The mod should work now with The Forge and their Asset Library, too. Make sure to update to 1.0.3 (vtta-core) and 1.0.4 (vtta-tokens) to get the updated versions.
Powerful, yet easy to use
I always try to create powerful tools that are easy to use. That's harder to write than actually do, because when you are sitting for 30 days over the same code, everything seems to be rather clear when it comes to usage. Still, I am sure that the basic functionality of VTTA Tokens has the same easy usage as vtta-tokenizer had: When you open up the editor, everything is already setup for you and you can simply adjust the actor's profile image by translating or scaling it a bit, hit OK and you already have a decent token for your game.
Or you might dive into the features of cloned layers with differnt masks applied to generate completely new monsters like the Ogrecorn, Goblicore or the double-headed Worg. Use different blend modes, opacity and tints for added effects - and do everything with unscaled raw material transformed for you in the background in order to maintain the highest quality result as possible.
If your computer catches fire while going all-out... congratulations! Please do not send any invoices ;)

Installation
Make sure to install both: vtta-core and vtta-tokens. Core will provide the configuration panel and several routines and utilities that other VTTA modules will share and re-use. Keep vtta-core updated in sync with the other modules.
Right now, the module is not yet listed in the regular Foundry package list and therefore requires manual installation. Head over to the linked websites to get more information or grab the direct manifest links and paste them at the very bottom of the module installation screen during Foundry startup.
I would like to have concise and limited feedback in regards to userbase, and a token editor being a rather popular module, I want to ride a bit under the radar for the first weeks until the main bugs have been squashed.

The asset link to the webpage of vtta-tokens has plenty of information about the usage/ details of the module, it's probably worth a look.
Update: Opening the editor
After I received user feedback about the obstructed visibility on Tidy5ESheets, I moved the button to invoke the editor into the window header bar. This should increase compatibilty with other sheets, too, while being readily accessible without needing to dive into other dialogues first:

Configuration
Configuration is now done using a combined configuration panel for all VTTA modules. Many modules will or are intended to work closely together, and keeping it all in one place made more sense in that regards. For VTTA Tokens, it is e.g. the location of actor related images that is configurable and used to store the token image if it cannot be stored right next to the actor's profile image. The importer will use the exact same setting and bringing an automated directory structure along the ride you will have both full control and a clean and structured image repository in the future.

Enjoy and stay lovely,
Sebastian
