The critters in the town, from hamsters to hares, were sprouting antlers as if it was the latest fashion trend. To add to the oddity, blood roses, as prickly as a cactus, were popping up like unwelcome guests at her weekly garden party. Which was canceled, by the way, because all plants are withering! There was not a single sunny day since...
Since that eerie mansion suddenly appeared on a hill overlooking the town!
Needless to say, it was all very inconvenient. Bee'Za enlisted the help of Shade, a thief who could sneak into a bear's den without waking it up, and Zaamnia, a fire mage who could light up a room with her smile... and, of course, her fireballs.
What they discovered in the mansion was quite the plot twist: the new residents were vampires! And the reason for the thorny takeover? They were growing blood roses for the Vampire Lord's upcoming wedding! Talk about some truly gothic decor.
Instead of picking the fight, Bee'Ze used her extensive plant know-how and advised them how to speed up the growing process. The roses bloomed in no time and Vampire Lord was so grateful that he invited the entire town to his wedding.
To everyone's relief, the sun decided it was safe to come out again, and the town was again bathed in its familiar, cozy sunlight. And as for the local critters and their new antlers? Well, it turns out that they're even more adorable with their extra headgear!
