First August Patreon Story Direction Poll

Hey everyone! *Another* poll, this one is about the spirit of the first Patreon story for August.

Looks like the Polar Bear story is going to win! We'll get to see some explorer find out how to explore all of the Arctic without ever needing to leave! Or think, or wear clothes again.

I wanted to try something more experimental with this one, so I'm going to basically give you two options!

Option 1 - The experimental method

Option 2 - The normal way I write stories.

This experimental method would basically be the character journaling their experiences on a typewriter as they turn. I find that this way could really help focus on those mental changes. And I like how dramatic it can be. Yet, we wouldn't really see any transformation in real time.

Here's an example of both!

1 -

'November 8th, 1921

My hands have become like my mother's oven mitts. White, fuzzy, claws larger than my fingers. If only I possessed such weapons in my foray into London's back alleys, then I might not have felt so anxious then. Had I not have the device by which I use to write these letters, then I surely would be lost. A pencil is something I dare say I shall never hold again unless there is a way of reverting these changes. As of now, I slowly tap upon each of the buttons like a bestial oaf, each claw carefully pressing the letter I desire. Many of the men here are afraid, as am I.

The sled dogs ran off in the night. They were frightened of our look, our former human sensibilities and features no longer what they once were. I do not blame them either, for some have already stepped beyond the lines of insanity. They cannot help themselves, they cannot understand what they have lost between their crotches. The Americans are the ones who have cried the most, while our sole Irishman seems to be the only one in good spirits. Almost too good. I've noticed him bending over to lick at the feminine genitalia we all harbor now.

We all feel it. There's a need there. We can smell other polar bears in the distance. They're watching us? Testing us? Yesterday, Jean-Pierre went to go investigate them, but he still hasn't returned.'

You get the idea! Basically letters with dates provided start and end the story.

And option two would be the way I normally write my stories! I don't think I'd need to give too much of an example?

Poll ends in 3 days!
