We have a website again!
Added 2020-06-04 14:14:41 +0000 UTCHey guys!
After moving to Github, I did not expect to ever make this announcement - yet here we are. So what happened?
On the reddit announcement post for 3.2, u/xaecors asked why I wasn't using Github Pages with Hugo to generate a static website from the markdown files. My response was that I had no idea how to do that and failed miserably when I tried half a year ago. Thankfully, I was not alone this time around. My boyfriend volunteered to help and set up Hugo for me, and a week later, here we are.
The new website
You can now find the guide under: foreverphoenix.github.io.
Please note that it does need a bit more work. We haven't updated the favicon / navbar icon yet, the theming isn't perfect (but there is a dark mode for those who need it!) and I haven't setup the domain yet (thephoenixflavour.com).
All of this is going to happen though and you will be able to visit the guide under the old domain again very soon - only it looks better and runs so much faster. Seriously, check it out: old wordpress website vs new Hugo website.
This was made possible by Step who did the heavy lifting with help from vaecors. Big thanks to Kai as well for that theme toggle! Y'all can stop crying about my love for light themes now.
Next up
Yes, the Fallout 4 WJ is still in the works. Soon (tm).
For TPF, I am about to publish 3.2.3 which is just a maintenance update to catch up with recent developments and mod updates. Afterwards, I'm going to start working on 3.3 probably on a dev branch and publish it as one big thing. I think. (I have been known to change my mind quite frequently.)
Alright, that's all from me. Happy modding!
