I work at home, I determine my own schedule and the effectiveness of my work depends very much on my mood. When I'm sad, it's very hard for me to start working. And one of the best ways to create the right mood is through sound.
Before, I worked under any kind of music. But in the beginning was South Park xD
I just turned on some season and worked. But he was distracting, because I constantly unconsciously wanted to see what was happening there.
I decided that I need to make background music. Rammstein and Prodigy also went into action. It seemed that dynamic music should create the right peppy mood. In practice, it turned out that I began to get tired with such music more than usual.
I tried to work in silence. This led me to unexpected consequences - I became even more distracted ... by my own thoughts. I read a lot then that this is one of the most correct ways to do intellectual work. It turns out that my work is either not intelligent enough, or this method simply does not work well for me. =)
I returned to music. It turned out that HIM worked well for me. But not enough.
I realized that the intensity and energy of the music should be reduced. Soundtracks for games (Neverwinter Nights and the Elder Scrolls series) went into action. I also tried Lo-Fi - everyone knows the girl in the headphones =) But even here I had an unexpected inconvenience. It turned out that music without vocals does not work well for me.
It turns out that I need something very calm, relaxing and with vocals. I began to search and finally stumbled upon what suits me perfectly - Hygge. This is probably the most peaceful and calm thing I've heard. It was my small victory. I just chose one of the many playlists on Spotify. If you don't have a clear "playlist to work with", just give it a try.
I'll add here a link to a playlist that I listen to myself, but you can choose any, it doesn't matter.
What else can I tell you about?
