Laura Fowler, Global Copy and Content Director at Abercrombie & Kent, is looking for pitches:
Laura Fowler is commissioning for Souvenir, A&K’s annual travel magazine set to be published in December. She is seeking pitches for the news and trends front-of-book section, Notes from the Field—a collection of destination-focused stories highlighting the most exciting inside-track news and trend-led angles with strong hooks and lasting relevance.
Potential pitches may include:
New openings (recent or scheduled for 2026)
Game-changing events, themes, or trends
Innovative ways of travelling
Key people reshaping destinations
Destinations on the rise (limited to those A&K covers)
The stories must appeal to a global readership (US, UK, and Australia) and align with luxury travellers seeking adventure and unique experiences. Contributors are expected to pitch from places they know well and have recently visited, offering genuine insider perspective.
Each story will run 200–300 words at a rate of 60p per word. The copy deadline is end of day, Tuesday 7 October. Pitches should be sent directly to Laura Fowler at lfowler@abercrombiekent.com.
