Great lesson, Jack. My favorite solo of the three is the one by Hollywood Fats, though I'm learning the others two and find much to enjoy about them.

It sounds funky -- a little "outside" hitting the G three times (a scale tone, but not one I would have emphasized). A somewhat familiar sound from jump blues style playing -- but -- other than experience -- some thoughts on how and when to emphasize non-chord tones? Thanks (Just getting to this lesson from last month now....)
