Examples for II-V-I lesson

Examples for II-V-I lesson

Thank you Nicolas, that makes sense. I've only been playing along with the solo tab and examples. I should listen to the backing track, maybe the bass line plays the II-V-I turn around.

Hi Ran - the ii-V-I is there to "replace" the A7. The ii of A is Bm7. That's why it doesn't appear in the score. The V is E7 and the I (Amaj7) is replaced by A7.

Nicolas Decomble

Hello Jack - in the video you mention Bm7 as the II chord, but the tab shows only A7, D7 and E7. Am I looking at the wrong tab for the "Secret to II-V-I's" lesson? Thanks as always for the great lessons.

Would it be possible to post the backing track for these examples? It just seems so perfect to practices over.
