An Introduction to Arpeggios!

An Introduction to Arpeggios!

Comments

I like to look for the common notes in the Arpeggios, in this case B and D until you get to the F#7 where they both flat a semi-tone (1 fret). That Bb really emphasises the final chord. Funny how that note , even if it’s the Major 3rd of F#, gives the chord a minor quality! Maybe because it doesn’t really resolve.

Thanks so much Jack for all the recent "Introductory Level" lessons. They are great. You explain the theory very clearly and demonstrate which fingers to use at a reasonable speed so I don't have to replay the video 100 times. I really appreciate it. That chord progression Bm7 / E7 / Gmaj7 / F#7 sounds so great too! Is it from a particular song? Cheers
