Enjoyed this lesson! Can’t wait for the blues lesson. Maybe someday a “Albert’s Shuffle” lesson.

Hi Jack. Great lesson! In 1966 I heard East West (Butterfield Blues Band) and I was totally blown away... to this day. Bloomfield was a big influence on me and my journey into the blues. Your lesson and explanations opened up his playing to me at time where I can understand what he's doing and play it. Thanks! JG

This is a fantastic lesson Jack. Your playing has always reminded me of Mike Bloomfield. The solos don’t sound like collections of cool notes, they sound like a real conversation that makes sense. I remember hearing the Butterfield Band on a record called What’s Shakin that had one or two tracks by Elektra Records musicians like Tom Rush, David Blue, the Lovin Spoonful etc. it came out in 1965. I loved it because it had that raunchy Tele sound that was very popular in Toronto, my home town, because of Robbie Robertson. Anyway, thanks for remembering this great musician. You play just like him in spirit.
