Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I have taken some time to read about the Neopolitan chord which seems to be a cadence such as in Moonlight Sonata. I don't hear that movement here. I definitely hear the Plagel cadences (IV to I). And I do appreciate you pointing out the iii sub for the I chord. Thanks for your input!

Gospel chord progressions generally rely on what is known as the Amen cadence. A IV I rather than the perfect cadence of a V I resolution. This resolution can be seen throughout the progression. F to Bb is a I IV Then to the iv Bb minor The 4 minor has a very strong resolution back to the tonic. It's a minor subdominant borrowed from the parallel key of F minor. IV iv to the I is a well known chord movement in all types of music. Now... In any Major key you can sub the tonic for the iii That's because they contain a lot of the same notes. An F Maj 7 contains an A minor chord within it. FACE (ACE) So we have A minor rather than F Maj. Then a Gb dim which is the leading tone diminished chord leading to G minor 7 Then to G minor's relative Major Bb again they are interchangeable. From Bb to A7 I would ses as a neopolitan chord which is where you Make the second chord in Key Maj and flatten it. We're heading to A so rather than B minor we have Bb Maj This has a C base and accentuates the resolution to A 7 Then you have a couple of perfect cadence style movements. V I A to D minor and D minor to G 7 Then we have the G7 to G minor 7 (movement) then again to it's relative Maj Bb and finally the plagal or Amen Cadence to F Maj. This is my analysis of this progression but I'm sure opinions will vary.

Thanks for all the hardwood, Jack. I really appreciate it. I've tried to analyze the chords and am a little stumped. I get I, IV, iv, iii, passing diminished chord (?), ii, V9/11 (People get ready chord) then move to [ VI, ii, V7]/V7 to ii, V9/11 to I. I know you are busy but if you have a moment for any clarifying thoughts I will be grateful.
