Added 2020-10-14 05:11:29 +0000 UTCUPDATE 2020.12.14 - Added Jungle door, spruce sapling, new jungle and dark oak planks. The old ones were pretty outdated and looked kinda bad. :D Tweaked the colors of the stone bricks to match the cobblestone better. (Thanks Joseph) Fixed the normal maps for the grass block side. New download links are down below.
UDPATE 2020.11.30 - Updated the pack with some nether and boat textures. I'm also thinking about updating the old dirt texture, added a side-by-side screenshot of the new one. Let me know what you guys think. The new textures I've added are Netherrack, Nether Bricks, Red Nether Bricks, Nether Quartz Ore, Oak, Dark Oak and Acacia Boat.

Hey guys, The new V65 update is here. In this one I was focusing on optimizing and reworking most of the models for better performance, but ofc I added new stuff and reworked some existing textures as well. You can see what's new at the bottom of this post.
You should expect a lot better performance with this version. The previous 1024x version was maxing out the VRAM because of all the complex models and you might have experienced stuttering, now that should be fixed. But It's hard to tell since everyone has different PC specs. If you're still experiencing low performance, try the 512x version or the 256x.

Installation for the main packs are the same as before, just copy the downloaded .zip file inside your resource pack folder and enable the pack in the ingame menu. If you're coming from on older version you can simply delete that. I haven't made any changes to the addon files (.jar), so you can still use the old ones from my previous post or the ones from this.

Shader Settings (clickable)
To match the quality of the screenshots, use SEUS PTGI E11 and set RAYTRACE_GEOMETRY_QUALITY to 0, and change the tonemap to ACEStonemap in the shader settings.
To get the Parallax effect (3D bumpy textures) you need to use shaders that support it, I recommend using Continuum 2.1 or SEUS Renewed.
The resourcepack is compatible with MC 1.15.2 and 1.16.1. Just use the 1.14.4 version of the pack and ignore the incompatible message when loading it. Unfortunately the new blocks (beds and nightstands) are only compatible with 1.15.2 and below. I'll convert them to 1.16.1 as soon as there will be a stable forge and mc creator build for it.

It's not really playable so it doesn't really matter. :D It was just fun to see how 4k textures would look like in Minecraft. With 4k textures each block is over 300MB.

"polished_granite, birch_planks, white_concrete, iron_block, clay, dirt" You can add blocks to this list if you open the sand.properties with notepad. You can find this file inside my resourcepack "RT 1024x v65 - 1.14.4\assets\minecraft\optifine\ctm\sand\sand.properties"
