its still an errand if you do it at home. between washing, drying, folding, etc. it is no where near as convenient as dropping a huge pile off at the Wash and Fold 1/2 block away (when you were leaving the house to go somewhere to begin with) and picking it up later that day washed, folded, pressed, and ready to go in your dresser. it is a million times more convenient.
