I was really hyped to relive the night. But when I got home and opened the SD card on my computer, I was extremely frustrated. The footage from the spy camera captured maybe 0.5% of everything that actually happened at the event.
That camera had been sitting unused at home for a while, but since my main spy cam got wrecked — literally thrown out of a bus by the automatic door — I brought this one as a backup. Worst decision I could’ve made.
What ended up saving things was the battery running out and switching to my phone.

I truly apologize for getting so hyped and for passing that excitement on to others. It was heartbreaking to lose everything after looking forward to it so much.
I learned from the mistake. Despite the extreme frustration, I’ve started mapping out several events in small towns, which usually take place in public squares. The crowd at these events is mostly what you'd call the local version of “rednecks.”
People drink a lot, there’s usually a big crowd, the ground tends to be uneven or grassy, and the lighting is moderately low. It’s basically the perfect setup to get several candid standing experiences without much trouble. I’m planning to attend every festival like this that’s happening around the state. This won’t be the last video of this kind you’ll see here.
