day two started out strong with a discussion, scribbly giant paper included, on "syd and kitten's principles of very hot". i'm including said giant scribbly, although i'm not sure how much sense it makes without context of the group discussion. i love the idea of breaking down our "why" and "how" into very clear and distinct categories. partially because i'm a big ol nerd and i love to talk about what goes on inside our brains, but also because i think that if we can pick apart these things, then we can better talk about them when we negotiate, and in turn create better, more cohesive, and more successful hotness.
with that as context for our day, we had four exercises:
exercise one, my favorite of the day for a reason you will likely find obvious from the second photo-- hip loaded naka panties to create an almost inverted m-shape. i chose to teach this with a simple but cozy-for-most arms front buddy
exercise two, another favorite (maybe they're all my favorites?) the squat predicament. i absolutely love the multi upline tk.
exercise three, which isn't pictured, i asked the people tying to blindfold themselves for a simple one rope floor tie. i love doing this exercise in my personal practice, especially at jams that there isn't a hardpoint available or i'm feeling too pooped to suspend.
exercise four, which i usually call the "pony" but here i think more looks like "baby deer". a simple but rude (ie crotch rope heavy) predicament and delicious way to end the intensive.
to my "nerds": if i were to make a video tutorial for one of these shapes (from day one or day two!) which is your favorite?
