Release of Alpha Version 1.2

There we go! We are happy to announce the release of 1.2 after quite some time.

I know some of you wont read far, so please press F4 in the title screen (where it says "Press something"). This is to ensure nothing breaks because of old saves.

We've been working hard on this version in the sometimes little time we could find! In a previous update post, we told you what it's going to include and I am happy to say that it's all in there. We've got the new monster girl fully implemented and the day/night switch is also now in the game including a very nice new background and some new sprites. You will also notice that some resolution changes have been happening and audio settings have been implemented too. On top of that is a whole new system that makes the dialogues work. We know thanks to the new resolution there are some visuals that are messed up, but those will be fixed in the bug fix updates.

Now, as most of you know there are going to be some changes in the future with how we work. We made a poll and a quite overwhelming majority wanted us to reduce the amount of animations (and so did we!). The wolf girl alone has as many adult animations as about 4-5 characters you would see in other games counting her phases and game over scene. With the quality we want to provide that takes tons of time (as you probably have noticed). So starting with the next enemy we will reduce the phases when getting caught to one. This will cause a much more doable workload for Veila as not only do two full adult animations (which take weeks each) no longer become necessary but the climax animations associated with them as well. So that will cut a ton of time off of this.

But this isn't the only change we want to do in the future. Whenever we finish a smaller thing for the game be it finalized or not (read as: some things might not look as pretty for some time) we might make an update for it. Another thing I want to announce is that we are pushing the addition of a skilltree to a later point. There are more important things to implement and work on like movement and other more basic functionalities.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I just wanted to make some things clear. We really strive to improve ourselves every time and your feedback is clearly helping in that regard too. Hopefully future updates will be faster with a reduced workload. Trust me. We're really excited about the game and what we have planned for the future so we want to get working on it as much as possible!

Expect bug fix & qol updates as soon as the bug reports come rolling in and have fun!
