Hey what's up everyone!
This week, before I get into the updates, I want to address the sudden surge in patreon money this month, and what it means for the Patreon goals.
For those of you who don't know, Joe Average, the current lord of Patreon, has become the first person to ever donate at the Highlander tier, which is a whopping $500 a month! He alone has put us way above the $1200 and $1250 goals I set.
However, he's told me outright that this is pretty much a one month thing, maybe two if I'm lucky, so while this is awesome for me personally, the channel goals aren't being met in a sustainable way. Next month he'll drop back down, and I'll be under $1200 again most likely. That's why I'm NOT going to move forward with either of the goals at this time.
The $1200 goal in particular, which is to hire animators to make animated segments of the shows, will be a constant cost I'm paying every month, so I can't afford to do it if we're not going to be staying above that goal.
Just wanted to explain that for everyone, since the goals had been met. Hopefully in the next couple months we'll hit the goals in a sustainable way, and Legsplay animated can become a real thing!
With that out of the way, a few reminders for you all.
First, if you're a $5+ Patron remember to vote on your two favorite sleeves this month, the poll was posted a few days ago and will only remain open until Monday, so act quickly!
Secondly a reminder that this month's hangout will be Sunday March 4th, and we'll be continuing the alphabet challenge with a 'Cards That Start With E' challenge, so start working on your deck if you wanna join. The hangout will take place on the Discord, and if you're new and don't yet have the link for that, just send me a message and I'll give it to you.
And now, the updates:
Tomorrow's WaD is a strange troll build I call Link Thief Cyber Angels, or LT. Cyber Angel for short. It's a deck that makes use of many of the newly unbanned cards on the most recent ban list, in particular, Brain Control, Mind Control, and Preparations of Rites. As always, the files are attached as a zip.
After that on Monday and Wednesday Stoic Steve and I are going co-op through the story mode of Rock of Ages 2, which is actually pretty interesting and fun.
Finally on Friday we'll have the 'Starts with D' challenge on the DBC for real this time, I promise.
Anyway that's it for this week, if you have any other questions feel free to message me!
