Exactly the kind of dude I would have lost it over when I was younger, but never would have had the guts to interact with.
My headcannon is that he and Sigil dated for like 2 months as teens, while she was finding herself. she made a ton of stupid mistakes and still dreads seeing him around, since he only knew her during that rocky period. He's proably over it, but she can't handle the thought of anyone remembering her that way.
